My first experience with sun tea. Found this beautiful lidded jar at the thrift store this weekend. What else could I possibly use it for?
Inspired by the sublime combination of white tea and blackcurrant featured in June's MS Living, I gathered up all of the essentials:
I added 10 teabags to about 4 litres of bottled water and set it out in the Saturday afternoon sun for a long, lazy brew.
Brought my favourite tumblers out to the deck - pretty pressed glass that just happened to be a perfect match for my new jar.
Pour a glass of steeped tea, add a splash of blackcurrant syrup, float a lemon slice on top.
Summer in a glass.
